Permanent Nurse Practitioner Neonatology Position Type: Permanent Specialty : Physician - Neonatology Location : North Carolina Rate : Permanent Placement Fee $14K Shift : 24-hour shifts (in-house rounds + home call) Position Details: Patient Population: Newborn / Nursery Setting: Level I Nursery (LDRP) Responsibilities: Daily newborn rounds, attend deliveries as requested, stabilize and manage newborns, facilitate transport to higher level NICUs, provide in-house coverage during day and take call from home Required Procedures: Newborn stabilization and management EMR System: Support Staff: Team of 4 NNPs with support from Level III NICU neonatologists and NNPs at nearby facility Days Per Month: Full-time schedule On-Call/Weekends: Daily rounds in-house with home call coverage Submission Requirements: Master s Degree and/or Doctorate in Nursing Board Certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP only) North Carolina license (or willing to obtain) NPDB self-query within 30 days Current 2+ years NNP experience (not including RN) DEA prior to start Not accepting new graduates Not accepting Locums candidates Join us today!
